We have core expertise in managing both legal & regulatory issues for several asset managers and funds across international jurisdictions and specifically in the Middle East. Members of our team have previously been board members of numerous funds and our previous mandates have included:

1. Establishment of a USD 5 billion fund in collaboration with Airbus for the acquisition and lease of Airbus aircraft

2, Setup of tax-efficient HoldCo/PropCo fund structures in Jersey, Cayman Islands, UK and Europe for the acquisition of real estate assets

3. Establishment of a GBP 150 million fund (CSSF approved SIF) investing in ground leases in the United Kingdom

4. Managing the legal and regulatory issues of a CSSF-approved, Luxembourg-based Collective Investment in Transferrable Securities (UCITS) fund

5. Redrafting and amendment of fund prospectus to include new share classes and amending investor rights for several funds

5. Due diligence and appointment of service providers for fund & asset managers

6. Drafting and negotiating agreements with administrators, custodians, prime brokers, placement agents and advisors

7. Dealing with regulators and enhancing authorisations for asset managers

8. Advising on, drafting and implementing compliance and AML policies and procedures

9. Managing regulatory investigations and visits
