Over the span of their careers, our team has advised on several high-profile and complex disputes, resolving them through litigation and alternative means. We have experience in handling domestic and cross-border commercial litigation and can help you devise the best strategy to achieve your goals in the most cost-efficient manner. Our previous mandates have included:

1. a dispute with an insurance company over non-payment of claims, which we assisted in settling out of court

2. a dispute with a correspondent factor in Europe for which we initiated arbitration and the opposite party agreed to pay 100% of the claimed amount upon filing the statement of claim

3. a dispute with a controlling shareholder in a special purpose investment vehicle, in which we initiated and managed litigation in two jurisdictions. We helped in finally agreeing on an exit on very favourable terms through an out-of-court settlement

4. a dispute with a quasi-government joint venture partner in the Middle East, in which we again achieved a negotiated exit on favourable terms

5. a construction dispute in which we represented our client with the King's Counsel after several law firms disagreed with our point of view. The King's Counsel agreed to take on the case on the basis that our arguments had strong merit (ongoing)

6. Squeezing out several minority shareholders after disputes arose around the management of a company
